Invite to Environmental Charter Group Meetings
30/10/2013

Following on from the successful round of North Wales Environmental Outdoor Charter Group (NWEOCG) meetings earlier this year, the next meetings are planned for November, as follows:
  • Wednesday 6th November, CMC Pensarn, Harlech LL45 2HS (6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.)
  • Monday 11th November, Loggerheads Country Park, Mold CH7 5LH (6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.)
  • Tuesday 12th November, Plas y Brenin, Capel Curig LL24 0ET (6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.)
The three meetings across the region are for group members and anyone interested in engaging with or joining the group. During the evening there will be an opportunity to sign up to the Environmental Charter and for those who are already members it'll be a chance to receive their membership certificates.

Each evening will include area specific updates, a look at the future work of the NWEOCG and a group discussion on issues and opportunities regarding the sustainable future of the outdoor sector..

A free copy of the recently produced Sea kayaking in Wales with a focus on minimising disturbance to wildlife will be available to pick-up at the meetings.

For more information on the North Wales Environmental Charter Group have a look at the Environmental Charter page on The North Wales Outdoor Forum or look us up on Facebook to see what we’ve been up to and follow us on Twitter.

You can download a printable flyer for the event, for staff notice-boards or anywhere else you think appropriate.

Please email chartergroup@snowdonia-active.com if you would like to book a place at one of the sessions. It will be good to know numbers beforehand to sort out the room and refreshment arrangements.
