A mountain challenge for all-round mountain athletes. The mountain triathlon format brings together a 13 km kayak ascent of the Conwy Estuary, a 12 km fell run from sea level to 500 m and back, and an 18 km mountain bike course based around the Marin Trail.
The carefully thought out route takes competitors through some of the finest scenery the UK has to offer, with each leg providing magnificent views through sweat drenched eyes! Enter as a solo competitor or a team. Entry is via the Fabian4 website

Any profits from the event will be donated to the Snowdonia Society
. The Society is a charity working to ensure that the beauty and diversity of the National Park's landscapes, wildlife and cultural heritage remain for present and future generations to enjoy.
The triathlon takes place on Sunday September 30th 2012, starting at 10 am. Registration will be open from 7.30 am, and there will be a race briefing at 8.30 am at the event centre, which must be attended by all competitors . The kayak leg will begin in Conwy, which is about 20 minutes drive away, so competitors must ensure they have enough time to get to the start and be on the start line for 10 am. Parking will be available in Conwy, with about a 100m portage to the launch slipway.
